offby5 is a product studio that starts with real people, real work, and the problems that keep them working later than they should.

We believe better work does not always require another complicated system. Sometimes the answer is software. Sometimes it is AI. Sometimes it is consulting. The medium changes, but the philosophy does not: understand the work first, then build what actually makes it better.

Our mission is to give people more control over the work that quietly consumes their days. We focus on the repetitive, manual, unnecessarily difficult processes that organizations have learned to tolerate—and create simpler ways to move through them.

Our first product, Letterbatch, makes complex personalized communication easier to prepare and review. It helps organizations turn spreadsheet data into individualized emails, letters, PDFs, forms, and files without stitching together mail merge, manual attachments, and endless quality checks.

Letterbatch began with a familiar problem: work that should take minutes routinely takes hours because the tools were never designed for the full job. It is the first example of what offby5 exists to build—practical products grounded in how people actually work.

And we are just getting started.
